The JA Financial Fitness Movement gives individuals, work colleagues, families and friends the chance to stay active while supporting JA financial literacy programs for area students.
Exercise anywhere, anytime you want, then log your runs, walks, and other activity above and Racery will convert it to mileage and move you along the 24-mile virtual course through Greater Rochester.
As you work your way to the virtual finish line, you’ll catch a Google street view of your virtual locale, see your place on our leaderboards and can use the message board or social media to cheer your fellow racers or brag about your activity. Your goal: Log as many miles as possible by May 26th at 11:59 p.m.
HOW FAR CAN YOU GO? Already crossed the finish line? Keep GOING, Keep LOGGING! You'll become an Ultramarathoner on the leader board, and you'll go for a victory lap or two around the virtual course. PRIZES for First Finisher and Most Total Miles Logged.
REGISTRATION-There’s a one-time $30 per person registration fee. All entries include a digital bib, digital finisher award and access to the Racery platform.
LIKE A GROUP EFFORT? Being in a group allows racers to informally collaborate or challenge competitors, and to keep track of group fundraising and miles totals. Register using a corporate email and we’ll auto-create groups. You can also easily form your OWN group through your My Bio function or join an existing one by using the JOIN THIS GROUP option. Each racer may join multiple groups, so family, friends and colleagues are welcome!
FUNDRAISING- Participants are asked to raise a minimum of $50 in donations beyond the registration fee. Share your personalized fundraising link with peers, family and friends before and during the race. Ask them to support your efforts. Every $50 you raise will provide JA programming for one student!

Additional PRIZES for Top Fundraiser and Most Peer-to-Peer Donations.
To keep everyone on the same course, we've come up with some handy guidelines:
1. We rely on the honor system... you don't have to prove your miles.
2. Only exercising/activity miles please. There are dozens to choose from!
3. Please attribute your activity to the appropriate day -- don't combine workouts from multiple days.
4. Please only backdate logs for the race up to two weeks in the past.
5. Activities submitted after the race ends will not count toward race leaderboards.
